Description: I gotta tell ya, I am so proud of the Gull Man. He didn't pick up the Weave concept immediately like Oz. I have to admit that first day, I had some momentary doubts, if he would, but I kept my same training philosophy that worked with Oz. Everyday, I'd lure him through the weaves 4 or 5 times. Within about a week, the lightbulb came on. Actually that's probably exceptionally fast compared to most other dogs, besides Oz. We still had quite a ways to go after that initial lightbulb moment, but we continued on practicing and he's really getting the hang of it now, although he's quite slow right now and has got somewhat of a funky form through the poles . Keep your eyes focused on his butt. ;-) We've still got some work left, fading my hand movement completely and him finding the entrance to the pole on his own, but I'm just so thrilled, I gotta share this now. :-D Duration: 6 secs Size: 350kb Song: Feelin' Groovy Date: Mar 2006 |
